Pennsylvania Council on the Arts: Arts in Education - Long Term Residency (Funding Source: General Fund)

  • Who May Apply: Schools, arts organizations, government agencies, institutions of higher education, senior centers, Head Starts, youth organizations, community centers, and other 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
  • Use: 60 day, in-depth interactions between professional teaching artists, students, teachers and others. Can be in a non-school setting. Eligible expenses include teaching artist fees and travel; visiting artist fees and travel; project director administration fees; professional development for teachers, school administrators or community members, or artists; costs for the culminating event or performance; supplies; onsite observations; documentation; participant assessment; and project evaluation.
  • Funds: Up to $15,000; one-third match required.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Nonprofit Security Grant Fund Program (Funding Source: Nonprofit Security Grant Fund)

  • Who May Apply: 501(c)(3) nonprofits that principally serve individuals, groups, or institutions included within a bias motivation category for single bias hate crime incidents as identified by the FBI, including race/ethnicity/ancestry, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender, and gender identity.
  • Use: Security planning and training, threat assessments, equipment, technology, specialty-trained canines, and upgrades to existing structures.
  • Funds: Grants between $5,000 and $150,000. See guidelines for match requirements.

Pennsylvania Council on the Arts: Entry Track (Funding Source: General Fund)

  • Who May Apply: A nonprofit, unit of government, or school district providing arts programming and/or arts services in Pennsylvania. Must have at least one year of consistent arts programming and an average fiscal size more than $200,000.
  • Use: Entry track is the point of entry for organizations or programs to the Arts Organizations and Arts Programs track of the PA Council on the Arts.
  • Funds: Cash match must be dollar-for-dollar; in-kind goods and services may not be used to match PCA funds.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency: 2020 Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction – Youth Focus (Funding Source: Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction Fund)

  • Who May Apply: Nonprofit organizations. Nonprofits may jointly apply or partner with a local government or school district, but direct awards cannot be made to government entities.
  • Use: To provide research-based or evidence-based approaches to prevention, intervention, training, treatment, and education services to youth and their families to reduce and/or eliminate youth substance abuse.
  • Funds: PCCD will accept applications for two-year grants with budgets not to exceed $150,000 over two years. There are no match requirements.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency: 2020 Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction – Category 1 – Adult (Funding Source: Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction Fund)

  • Who May Apply: Nonprofit organizations. Nonprofits may jointly apply or partner with a local government, but direct awards cannot be made to government entities.
  • Use: To provide research-based or evidence-based approaches to prevention, intervention, training, treatment, and education services to adults and their families to combat opioid/heroin overdoses. Only new projects will be funded. Project expansions or continuations are not eligible for funding under this solicitation.
  • Funds: PCCD will accept applications for two-year grants with budgets not to exceed $150,000 over two years. There are no match requirements.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency: 2020 Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction – Category 2 & 3 (Funding Source: Substance Abuse Education and Demand Reduction Fund)

  • Who May Apply: Statewide nonprofit organizations. Nonprofits may partner with a local government or school district, but direct awards cannot be made to government entities.
  • Use: To provide statewide or regional programs. Category 2 funds are intended to educate youth, caregivers of youth, and employers about the dangers of substance abuse and increase the awareness of the benefits of a drug-free Pennsylvania through media-related efforts that may include public service announcements, public awareness campaigns, and media literacy. Special consideration will be given to projects that focus on the use of opiates within the Commonwealth. Category 3 funds are intended to educate employers, unions, and employees about the dangers of substance use in the workplace and provide comprehensive drug-free workplace programs and technical resources for businesses, including, but not limited to, training for working parents to keep their children drug-free.
  • Funds: PCCD will accept applications for one-year projects with budgets not to exceed $275,000. There are no match requirements.

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection: County Recycling Coordinator Grant Program (Section 903) (Funding Source: Recycling Fund)

  • Who May Apply: Counties.
  • Use: To reimburse 50% of the cost of employing a county recycling coordinator in the previous calendar year.
  • Application Deadline: April 30

DEP 2020 DC Fast Charging and Hydrogen Fueling Grant Program: February 26 (Funding Source: State Mitigation Trust-Volkswagen emissions settlement)

  • Businesses, Incorporated Nonprofits, State, Local, or Tribal Government Agencies, Air Quality or Transportation Organizations, Metropolitan or Rural/Regional Transportation Planning Organizations, and Federal Government Agencies. - Purchase, installation, and operation of publicly accessible DCFC or HFCF at locations proposed by program applicants.

PHMC Keystone Historic Preservation Planning Grant Program: March 1 (Funding Source: Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation Fund)

  • Local governments, historic preservation organizations, historical societies, conservancies, colleges and universities, religious institutions, museums, and other historical organizations. Historic property must be publicly accessible and listed in, or documented as eligible for listing in, the National Register of Historic Places.  Private property owners and businesses are not eligible. - Cultural resource surveys, to prepare nominations to the National Register of Historic Places for resources already determined eligible, archaeology activities, and for preservation plans, feasibility studies, and other predevelopment planning.

PHMC Keystone Historic Preservation Construction Grant Program: March 1 (Funding Source: Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation Fund)

  • Local governments, historic preservation organizations, historical societies, conservancies, colleges and universities, religious institutions, museums, and other historical organizations. Historic property must be publicly accessible and listed in, or documented as eligible for listing in, the National Register of Historic Places. - For preservation, rehabilitation, or restoration of historic properties.

DEP Agricultural Plan Reimbursement Program: April 1 (Funding Source: Environmental Stewardship Fund)

  • Agricultural operators/landowners in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed (43 counties). - To hire a technical expert to develop plans for manure management, nutrient management, or erosion and sediment control.
